Hidden Gems

Over the last few years, there have been plenty of great battles that have dropped, but when there is so much great material available, it is very easy for many entertaining clashes to go by unnoticed. As a battle rap fan, it’s easy to ignore some of the battles that take place at smaller events or with lesser known emcees as we often tend to seek out the battles with battlers that we are already familiar with or those events which have been heavily promoted, but there is definitely a benefit to at least occasionally checking out a battle that you wouldn’t initially be inclined to watch. Granted, if you do this, you may have to work your way through a lot of garbage material, but if you keep an open mind, you can sometimes find a hidden gem that is well worth watching.

With that being said, the Hidden Gems section is meant to highlight some of the recent good battles that have been overshadowed by the more high profile showdowns. At the time of writing, all of these battles have less than 100,000 YouTube views, but whatever the reason is that they’ve been ignored by the masses of battle rap fans, I’m sure you’ll find at least entertainment value from watching these battles which have (until this point) gone under the radar.
